YOUNG people who are affected by mental health issues can join a new group.
Mind the Gap is a new support group for youngsters who suffer from – or are affected by – depression and related conditions.
The group has been set up by Biggleswade volunteer Jo Mayes, who won a VInspired National Award for her community work back in March.
Mind the Gap will be holding a meeting for 14 to 25-year-olds on Thursday at 6.30pm.
It will take place at the ASDA meeting room in Biggleswade.
After the first meeting the group will be split up into different age bands.
Members may not suffer personally from depression or a similar condition – it could be a close relative or partner who is affected.
The group’s activities will be fun and will involved leisure trips and pursuits to help members get to know each other.
