A WOMAN in her 50s is being taken to hospital after being headbutted by a horse.
The Magpas Helimedix team were called to a field in Potton at 3.15pm today (Friday, March 30) after receiving reports of a woman who had been knocked unconscious after a horse headbutted her.
When the Magpas team arrived, the woman had regained consciousness.
They worked alongside the EEAST Ambulance Crew and assessed the patient’s condition.
The woman is currently on her way to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Magpas’ Dr Ali Tompkins said: “This woman is in a stable condition and we expect her to make a full recovery.”
