A MOTORIST has appealed for information after his car was badly damaged by a passing vehicle.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, parked his silver Audi TT in The Baulk, Biggleswade on Thursday, February 23.
The vehicle was dragged along the road and left mounted on a kerb, some time between 8am and 12.30pm.
The vehicle owner, who lives in Sandy, believes that somebody must have seen or heard the car being struck and pulled along.
Thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused to the car, which was parked legally.
He said: “Had an individual or a baby in a pushchair been sitting in the car then they would have been killed or seriously injured.
“It took me 30 years to save up enough money to buy this car and now it has been crumpled by an individual who did not have the decency to leave any details.”
A spokesman for Bedfordshire Police confirmed that the collision has been reported and is appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with any information can contact the non-emergency number on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
