Students learnt how to stay fit and healthy during a lifestyles day.
Etonbury Academy in Arlesey held the themed day on Tuesday, October 16.
Headteacher, Al Mistrano, said: “Ofsted registered our curriculum as being outstanding and a big part of that is our cross curricular days.
“Young people thrive on learning but particularly what applies to their own lives.”
Activities included looking at the ingredients in food so that the middle students and can make wise choices before eating.
They also tried out different sports such as hockey. They learnt about American football and since then uptake in the school’s American football club has significantly increased.
