A NEW community safety plan has been adopted by the executive committee of Central Beds Council for the coming year.
The three priorities for 2012 to 2013 have been identified as anti-social behaviour, reducing reoffending and domestic abuse.
Councillor Brian Spurr, executive member for sustainable communities services. said: “Community safety is an area that concerns everyone and is consistently a high public priority.
“In recent years it has been acknowledged that tackling community safety issues needs organisations and services to work together to find solutions to problems.
“The Community Safety Plan sets out how we in Central Bedfordshire will work together to reduce crime and disorder over the next 12 months.”
The three priorities were identified through public consultation.
