Construction has started on Albone Avenue, a brand-new development of 43 affordable homes in Hitchin Road, Arlesey.
The much-needed development which will provide 31 traditionally-built rental homes offering a mix of six one-bedroom apartments, 18 three-bedroom and seven two-bedroom houses. Another 12 homes, comprising six three-bedroom and six two-bedroom houses, will be offered for shared ownership.
The new housing development has been named in memory of the Albones, a local Arlesey family who lost four sons in the Great War.
