Children from a Stotfold pre-school donned hard hats as they visited the site of their new school building.
Pippin Pre-School is to be moved to another location within the Roecroft Lower School site, in Buttercup Road, Stotfold as a result of the increasing number of children within the area.
Construction firm Willmott Dixon, which invited the children to see the site, is now pushing ahead with work so that the new building can open in March 2015.
Councillor Mark Versallion, Executive Member for Children’s Services at Central Bedfordshire Council, said: “It was exciting for the pupils to find out more about their new pre-school provision, and I hope that they will be even more excited to move in when the building work is finished.”
