A group of Scouts and their families donned helmets and shorts for a 38-mile tour of Chronicle Country on their bikes to raise funds for a trip of a lifetime to Japan next year.
The cyclists visited five of the scout headquarters in the county, taking in the Greensand Ridge bridle path and visiting the Tempsford airfield memorial and the RSPB headquarters.
The scouts raised £750 during the event, with more planned throughout the year.
The youngsters, aged between 13 and 16, cycled from Henlow via Arlesey, Shefford, Sandy and Gamlingay before returning to Henlow, for which they were sponsored.
The event was organised by Explorer Scout Ben Febery-Watts,15, and his dad Steve, who are keen cyclists.

At Shefford Scout HQ they were met by fellow Jamboree Scout Emilia De Luca and mum Morag who provided much needed refreshments including iced orange juice.
