A 32-year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary.
On the direction of the Crown Prosecution Service Bedfordshire Police have charged a man in relation with an incident which took place in Grange Road, Blunham on Wednesday, February 26.
Jasper Smith of High Street, Biggleswade, has been charged with one count of aggravated burglary, one count of grievous bodily harm and one count of common assault.
Smith was remanded in custody and was due to appear before Luton Magistrates Court this morning (Friday, March 7).
