A beauty spa in Biggleswade has chosen two local charities through a series of events
The Retreat Beauty Spa and Boutique in Biggleswade holds many events throughout the year and has decided this year all proceeds will go to Biggleswade Scout Group and St John’s Hospice Moggerhanger.
A spokeswoman said: “Through a Facebook campaign a number of Charities were nominated, the nominations were then ‘liked’ and the top two most liked charities will now benefit from a 50 per cent share each of all money raised.”
The next event is Afternoon Tea at The Retreat on March 16.
The spa is offering two sittings of 20 covers, for a traditional afternoon tea with savoury treats and sweet delights, and there is even a Champagne option.

They have already held an FM perfume party, an Ann Summers evening and on the March 2 they are holding facial workshops to launch their new product range, Katherine Daniels Cosmetics.
