A special meeting of Central Beds Council’s executive committee will discuss the council’s Gypsy and Traveller Local Plan.
It will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, January 21) at 2pm in the council chamber of Priory House in Chicksands.
This follows last week’s meeting of the sustainable communities overview and scrutiny committee where councillors agreed to scrap plans for Site 58, by Gamlingay Heath and Potton, and to instead increase the number of pitches at the existing site in Potton – although the latter will not be included in the plan.
Councillors also agreed to replace the proposed Site 55 near Dunton with the nearby Site 26 in Dunton Lane, Biggleswade as well as putting 10 pitches on Site 76 near Fairfield and Stotfold.
The plan will then go to a meeting of the full council on Thursday, January 30.
