Plans to construct a wind turbine at a nature reserve have been delayed.
Central Beds Council’s development management committee was due to decide whether to give permission for a turbine at The Lodge RSPB headquarters in Sandy.
But on Wednesday, December 4 councillors deferred the planning application, which was recommended for approval by planning officers.
This was because a late representation had been submitted by Cambridge Airport suggesting it could disrupt its radar system and this now has to be considered.
The plan should be discussed again in February.
