Students at an academy learned about the geography and agriculture of Kenya during a Super Learning Day.
Youngsters at Henlow Academy enjoyed the Trip to Kenya workshop, where they also heard about farming, water and education issues in the East African country.
Thanks to a grant from the British Council teachers Alex Albert and Ian Lee were able to visit Henlow Academy’s partner school in Kenya during half-term.
The two spent time working at Utange Baptist Primary School and experienced daily life in the rural settlement of Utange.
They spoke to students about their experiences and about their preparations for the trip, including arranging visas and planning their journey.
