A church will hold its ever popular fayre next weekend.
St Andrew’s Country Fayre will be at the parish church in Biggleswade on Saturday, September 21.
There will be a special toy exhibition, featuring toys through the ages. This is entitled A Toy Story Exhibition.
Children will enjoy the bouncy castle and face painting.
There will be tombolas, craft stalls and a grand raffle with a £200 prize.
Cakes, bread, jams, chutneys, plants and vegetables will all be for sale.
A variety of entertainment will take place in the arena throughout the day.
And anyone in need of refreshment can make use of the barbecue and buy, tea, coffee or soft drinks.
Money raised will be split between Ivel Valley School in Biggleswade and Mencap.
The school was chosen because some of the families in the congregation have children who attend. Learning disability charity, Mencap, was selected as a related cause because the school teaches children with learning disabilities.
The fayre will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm in the grounds of the Shortmead Street church.
Entry is free.
