Visitors to a fete were at risk of a soaking!
Old Warden Village Fete was held on Saturday (August 31) at the Old Warden Cricket Ground and one of the attractions was the stocks.
Fortunately the worst that volunteers had thrown at them was a wet sponge. Mike Marshall is pictured awaiting his soaking (PIC: Paul Orr-Campbell).
Villagers could also take part in the tug of war, skittles and crazy golf.
For those who needed a break from the risk of receiving a soggy sponge to the face there were traditional teas and even homemade cakes.
And the raffle was well worth entering with a top prize of a flight in a Pitts Special plane.
