Have your say on a new development strategy for our towns and villages.
Central Beds Council’s draft strategy sets out how the council will plan to deliver 28,700 new homes, 27,000 new jobs and the supporting infrastructure by 2031. It also includes the key policies to help determine planning applications.
Councillor Nigel Young said: “The council is committed to ensuring that we will meet this demand in a way that respects and protects the natural environment and local heritage.”
The document will be submitted to the secretary of state in May. It will probably be adopted in February next year.
